If you are a Mac, iPad, or iPhone user, the update next month for iOS 10 and macOS Sierra will have some impact on you.
In the new iOS 10 and macOS Sierra, PPTP VPN connections will not be allowed. Apple has some good information on their website here:

This should have minimal impact on all users, because we already provide OpenVPN and L2TP connections on Mac, and we provide L2TP connections on iPads and iPhones. Plus, our Kovurt App for iOS does not use PPTP, so you need not worry.
Also, in the coming weeks we will roll-out enhanced IKEv2 connections for everyone, and that will be additional good news for all Apple users.
